Gray/BL Harbert Joint Venture -- Vance, Alabama
American Fire provided complete fire suppression system design, material, and commissioning services for multiple projects at the Mercedes Plant in Vance, Alabama. Most recently, American Fire completed work on the BR167 project. The scope of work for this project included 1.3 million square feet of assembly area, early suppression fast response (ESFR) systems at the roof level, providing sprinklers beneath multiple obstructions, and pre-action type sprinkler systems. During the schedule of this project, the water storage tank and the existing fire pump room were relocated to new areas without interrupting production or causing a delay to the project schedule or system commissioning.
