Caddell Construction -- Conakry, Guinea

American Fire provided complete fire suppression system design, material, and commissioning services for Caddell Construction during the design/build of a sophisticated new embassy compound featuring advanced security and communications technology. Despite monsoon-like rains where as much as eight feet of rain fell in a two-month period, chronic delays in deliveries due to the dilapidated transportation infrastructure, and a scarcity of local material and labor resources, the new embassy was completed on schedule. The project won both the National Associated General Contractors (AGC) Build America Award and the National Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction Eagle Award.
