American Fire provided complete fire suppression system design, material, and commissioning for Caddell Construction during the design/build of an extensive new embassy compound on a large 43-acre site. The compound was designed to consolidate and replace aging facilities that were disbursed throughout the city. Balancing the rigors of security with sustainability, the embassy earned LEED certification—among the first for a State Department standard embassy design. The project received both the National Associated General Contractors (AGC) Build America Award and the National Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Excellence in Construction Eagle Award.
